Use stickers 

Some scratches on the luggage can go too deep, and removing those scratches require sanding out and repainting that place with thick color. 

This process is expensive and requires professionals. And for a luggage it is not efficient at all. 

In cases like that, it is suggested to use stickers of your choice to hide the scratch area. 

Remove attachable items

Some items in the luggages are attachable such as pockets and chains; if those are removable, then it is recommended to remove those items first to individually clean those items.

There can be both light scuff marks and deep scuff marks; for light scuff marks it is pretty easy to remove the marks, but deep scuff marks require an eraser cleaner.
